Washington DC micro wedding photographer — a classic yet low-key and relaxed summer elopement at historic Larz Anderson House
Sometimes, the timing just isn’t right.
Blair and Rick were first married years ago, but in their youth they couldn’t seem to figure out how to make their relationship work together, and so they divorced, and closed the chapter on their lives together.
Or so they thought. When fate brought them back together again six years later, both single and both in very different life stages than before—Blair the talented owner Sweet Blossoms, a thriving floral design business outside of Washington DC, and Rick the father of two young, sweet, and smart boys—Blair didn’t expect that they would unearth their feelings for each other. And yet, there they were.
Witnessing this colorful elopement vision come to life at Glen Echo Park—hands down one of the coolest wedding venues in the Washington, DC area—was an absolute dream. Between the cheeky neon lights, the bright pops of color and the ornate Spanish ballroom, every inch of this amazing venue was full of inspiration and fun. Add in Abby and Zay’s bold, playful love, a dash of rainbow flower clouds, and a ton of nostalgic inducing carnival-inspired details, and we had ourselves a recipe for an insanely beautiful day. Scroll down to see for yourself!
