If you’re getting married in the Northern Virginia area, it is very likely that I have already shot at your venue! But here’s my secret ... I actually adore shooting new-to-me venues for the first time. I get fresh eyes in new spaces and every where I look is inspiration! For this reason, it’s really not necessary to do a walk-through prior to the day of your wedding (when I’ll arrive early to scout out spots for you!). If you’d still prefer that we get to see your space together, no worries! I do offer a walk through session for $125 plus travel.

My favorite fake quote that the internet has ever blessed us with is this: “‘There are no bad pictures; that’s just how your face looks sometimes’ - Abraham Lincoln.” And I really think that Honest Abe is up to something, here. I promise that I will use all of my knowledge to capture your best angles, and even ask you to tell me about any favorite sides or least-favorite faces that you make so that I can avoid delivering images that you don’t absolutely love. And while I may remove a pimple here or a stray hair there, you’ve got to know how wonderful and perfect you are just as you are, and I will not ever use my knowledge of photoshop to change your body.

Woohoo!! Once we've all decided that we'll be a perfect fit and that you'd like me to be a part of your wedding team, we'll make it all official by signing a contract that lays out expectations for all of us. This contract along with a non-refundable retainer will officially reserve your wedding date.
